Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a spiritual community that celebrates the gifts of God that empower us to engage in the struggles of life, to care for each other, and to serve Christ where we work and live. Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church commits to being a Reconciling In Christ congregation.
We welcome the participation of people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, educational backgrounds, and economic conditions—all who want to join in community to honor God and be of service to people. Our unity is in Christ.
Holy Week and Easter
There is one week of the year that is an entire liturgical season in and of itself. The journey from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday can feel like two celebrations in a row if you’re only present for Sunday worship. But if you also come and experience Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, you can find a more complex, contemplative journey through the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We invite and challenge you to experience Holy Week this year.
Palm Sunday – April 13th at 10:00am
Maundy Thursday – April 17 at 7:00pm
Good Friday – April 18 at 7:00pm
Easter Sunday – April 20 at 10:00am
Your presence is hoped for and celebrated whenever you join us this month. We pray that your unique journey with the crucified and resurrected Christ brings you hope.
